Sandanski is recognized as the best place for the treatment
of bronchial asthma. Located 160 km south of Sofia, it lays
in the sunniest part of Bulgaria, just in the foothills
of the Pirin Mountains. The micro-climate with incredibly

seasons with 2,450 hours of sunshine a year. The hyper-thermal
mineral waters with temperatures from 42 to 81°C are
clear, scentless and pleasant tasting and slightly mineralized.
